Wagyu Japanese Black beef came in; Bistro Re Arbor

Kuroge Wagyu, Japanese Black Beef, just came in Bistro Re Arbor.

You can have the meat as "Shimofuri Karubi (beef shortrib) steak " at the restaurant.
We have veriety of red wines which go well with the meat.

In addition, today's desert is yogurt mousse with strawberry sauce.

KOUJIGEN from NISEKO

Today, I would like to introduce a nice product "KOUJIGEN".

A new product called "Koujigen" is now on sale in Niseko View Plaza.

"Koujigen" is Amazake (sweet drink) and is made from Genmai fermented Genmai (unpolished rice) in Niseko.
In addition, this amazake is non-alcoholic.

You can enjoy it with your family.

Donto - Yaki at Kutchan Shrine

Yesterday, we had a Donto-Yaki ceremony.

Donto-Yaki is one of Japanese traditional fire festivals and it is usually held on around 15th of January at Shrines.
On the day, a big bonfire is set up in a shrine.
People visit the shrine with New Year's ornaments and burn the ornaments in the big bonfire.

Old people say that New Year's gods and sprits are going back to their home ridding on the smoke of the fire.
And when the fire festival comes, we know that the New Year celebrations end on the day.

Here, it was held at Kutchan shrine yesterday.

Charcuterie Akaishi in NISEKO

Just a couple of days ago, when I visit Niseko View Plaza (Niseko Michino Eki),
I found a logo mark that I was not used to seeing.
Gold color logo mark on the blue color background!
It looked nicer.

Then, I had it.

Good! I love it.

It was made by "Charcuterie Akaishi", which has started a business since last year,
to make Niseko HOKKAIDO - specific charcuteries.

You can get Charcuterie Akaishi's products Niskeo View Plaza as well as Lucky Kutchan branch.

Niseko Japonica 2019

Niseko Japonica 2019 will be held at the beginning of Feburary in Niseko.

At the event, you can experience some tradtional Japanese culture 
such as fitting on Japanese armour and ninja clothes, etc.

In addition, during the event, classical Japanese dance and Kagura dance will be performed
(a performance will be changed from day to day).

Time; 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Place; Niseko Chou Soukogun

Lunch in Niseko

Here, Bistro Re Arbor opens dinner time as well as lunch time.

Lunch time starts from 11:00 am to 15:00 (LO is by 14:30).
Dinner time is from 17:00 to 21:30 (LO; 21:00).

Cottage Kabayama Renewaled

The property named "Cottage Kabayama" has been renewed.

The maximun number of people being accommodate became up to 6.
Pet cannot be allowed to enter the property.
Wall clothes have been renewed.
Type of bedding has changed from Japanese futon style into semi-double beds.

A washing & drying machine has been installed.
Moreover, you can use the Internet (WiFi) there.

Snow statue in Izumikyo

Eventually, I made snow statues! 

This is the year of boar in Chinese astrology.
Then, I made a parent boar and its children.
You can see them in front of Izumikyo Management Center.
